Mrs. Sarah W. Wright, mother of the Grimes correspondent, who lives with George N. Wright, her son is certainly a very smart old lady considering her age, which is about 92 years. Mrs. Wright was one of the oldest settlers in Aroostook. She was the wife of George Wright, whom she has survived some 15 years or more. She says that they settled on the farm where J.B. Trafton used to live, not far above Fort Fairaeld, on the road leading from Fort Fairfield to Caribou. We may furnish the review with a brief accouut of some of the hardships experienced by the early settlers of Fort Fairfield, at future date, if we are allow. space.
