John Little is NOT listed in Dr William Bell Little's will as a son or an heir though many people have him listed as such. I would be surprised that a Dr's son became a poor farmer. I have a apparent DNA connection to the Little family of Cumberland, England (multiple DNA matches) and an apparent DNA connection to the Littles and Viponds in Ohio that are known to have come from these families in Cumberland, England. George Little and Hannah Vipond had a son named John, baptized May 23, 1802 at St John in Garrigill, Cumberland, England. My research shows that other John Littles from England at that time are pretty well accounted for later in life, but this particular one from Garrigill seems to have vanished. George and Hannah are my best guess as to John's parents.
