June 24, 1987 - Keene, Cheshire, New Hampshire, USA
MARIE M. ROY KEENE, N.H. — Marie M. Roy. 96, formerly of 136 Old Walpole Road, died Monday evening at the Maplewood Nursing Home. She was born in Holyoke, Mass., Oct 9, 1900, the daughter of Patrick and Julia (Lally) Fallon. Mrs. Roy had been a resident of Keene for the past nine years having moved there from Westminster Station, Vt. She has been employed as a postal clerk and former postmistress at the Westminster Station Post Office for many Mrs. Roy was member and past grand regent of the Bellows Falls Chapter of Catholic Daughters of America. She had been active in the Borden Grange and had held several offices ui both the local and state grange. She was a long time member of St Charles parish in Bellows Falls, Vt. She was the widow of Arthur H. Roy who died in 1970. Mrs Roy is survived by one son, Leon J. Roy of Bedford, N.H., a daughter Barbara A. Fee; three sisters, Rose Roy of West Swansey, N.H., Sadie Talbot of North Walpole, Agnes MulKerrins of County Galway., Ireland; seven grand-children and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church in Bellows Falls. Burial will follow in St Charles Cemetery. Friends may call today at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St., from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
