Mrs. Elizabeth Ayotte, 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Winfield Doody of 40 Alden St..1 Tuesday morning after a long illness. The widow of Joseph Ayotte, she was born in Caribou, Me., and had lived four years in Hartford. Besides her daughter, she leaves a son, Haze McDougal of Caribou; two other daughters, Sirs. Ray Dooty and( Mrs. Velva Theriault, both of Caribou; a brother, five sisters and seven grandchildren. Burial will be in Grimes Mill Cemetery, Caribou.

Lizzie McDougal Ayotte died July 5 in Hartford at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Winifred Doody, after a long illness.
She was born in Caribou, Aug. 2, 1882, the daughter of the late William and Ann Eliza Bubar. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Winifred Doody of Hartford, Mrs. Ray Doody and Mrs. Velma Theriault of Caribou; one son, Alton McDougal of Caribou; five brothers, Mr. Harry Wilcox, Edward Doody and Mrs. Sherman Doody of Caribou, Mrs. Rose Doak of Houlton and Mrs. Carrie Wilcox of Mapleton; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, Friday, July 8 at 2 p.m. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Bernard Doody of Caribou, Gerald Doody of Windsor, Conn., James Doody, Donald and Hans McDougal, and Avery Theriault, all of Caribou. Interment was in the Grimes Cemetery.
Out-of-town relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Winifred Doody, Mr. and Mrs. James Corbel, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lavoie, Louvena McIntyre, Jean Bubar, Bernard Doody and Mrs. Laura Snyder, all of Hartford; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Doody of Windsor, Conn.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sigg of Rome, N.Y.; Mrs. Carrie Wilcox and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wilcox of Mapleton and Mrs. Violet Thibodeau of Augusta.
