Mrs. May Levesque, 77, of Caribou died at the Gould Hospital, Presque Isle April 6, following a long illness. She was born Dec. 4, 1892, the daughter of John and Annie (Fisher) Crawford in Caribou. She was a member of Gray Memorial Methodist Church, the Jennie Lyons Circle, the WCTU and the Senior Citizens. She is survived by two sons, Otis of Washburn and Hubert of Seekonk, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Haze (Madeline) McDougal and Mrs. Donald (Regina) Cochran of Caribou; Mrs. Beatrice Collins of East Hampton, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Luther (lean) Devoe of Hanlon; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren ; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Irene) McDonald of Auburn and Mrs. Alfred (Fannie) Hanks of Cranston, R.I. Funeral services were -held April 8 at the Morgan Funeral Home with the Rev. George Budd of the First Baptist Church of Woodland officiating. Two solos were rendered by Frank Nichols accompanied by Robert Thompson, pianist. Pallbearers were Lee Doody, Fred Fournier, Ernest Johnson, Edward Miller, Harry Wright and Kenneth Armstrong. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery later this spring.
